We sat down with James to find out more about his new and exciting range.
Q: What inspired you to start your own cosmeceutical line?
A: Viviology was born from client insights during clinic treatments, revealing a unique market opportunity. We identified the need for an effective, accessible, and inclusive skincare brand that’s simple and playful, creating a range with our favorite tested ingredients with clinic customers in mind.
Q: What core values does your brand embody?
A: Every Viviology product is crafted with a commitment to accessibility, offering mindful pricing and easy availability. We focused on making the brand approachable and fun through our branding, packaging, and communication with customers. Sometimes professional skincare can feel stiff and alienating, Viviology takes an inclusive approach, ensuring everyone can envision our products in their routine.
Q: Who are the products in your range suitable for?
A: While it's impossible to create a skincare range for everyone, we focused on ingredients that deliver results. With Viviology's expanding range, there are increasing opportunities to personalise skincare. Viviology is perfect for skincare newbies and also supports those on an in-clinic skincare journey.
Q: Can your products be used together, or are there specific combinations to avoid?
A: Viviology products can be used exclusively and also play really well with other brands. At our skincare clinic, we use the Viviology range of skincare as well as many other brands to create personalised skincare routines for our clients. We are also big fans of mixing serums together to enhance results, whether Viviology solely or mixed with other appropriate options.
Q: Are your products cruelty-free or vegan?
A: Absolutely, this was a non-negotiable for us.
Q: How do you approach ingredient selection for your products?
A: We are all about active ingredients that are clinically proven to work and that are chosen and preferred by our professional community. As therapists, we know what really works and what doesn’t. We therefore concern ourselves with ingredients that have detailed clinical data as well as formulations that are kind to the skin and the environment.
Q: What has been the most rewarding aspect of your journey so far?
A: Partnering with Advanced Cosmeceuticals has been a highlight. After recommending Viviology in our clinic for over two years, we've seen clients thrive with it in their routines. Q: What’s next for your brand? Are there any new products on the horizon?
